If you don’t know where you’re going you’ll probably end up somewhere else, life is game and you need always strategy for everything , interview probably one of the things that you need to develop strategy , Everyone is nervous on interviews. If you simply allow yourself to feel nervous, you’ll do much better its healthy man. Remember also that it’s difficult for the interviewer as well he need to select good candidate sometimes in very short time,In general even if they pretend that they are fine “but they for sure not” , be upbeat and positive. Never be negative, Never talk for more than 2 minutes straight you will have more mistake if you do,Don’t try to memorize answers if some one told you how to answer, expert people can figure it out so try to be you self ,and don’t be afraid to include your own thoughts and words people will enjoy when they feel you are natural expert interviewer can really figure if you are natural or not.
Lets come to the point or the single most important strategy in interviewing, is what we call is (Find out what people want, then show them how you can help them get it) Find out what an employer wants most in his or her ideal candidate, then show how you meet those qualifications, In other words, you must match your abilities with the needs of the employer. You must sell what the buyer is buying(remember you are sales man) . To do that, before you know what to emphasize in your answers, you must find out what the buyer is buying… what he is looking for. And the best way to do that is to ask a few questions yourself. Once you know what he wants, you can then present your qualifications as the perfect “key” that fits the “lock” of that position In order to do this , you should read job description and duties carefully several time ,highlight the most important point ,some people feel that an idiot person wrote this for nothing, no sir its there for reason .
Now lets focus in the most important part , the interesting thing to figure this as early as possible, so you did your home work well,had all required info from the Job ads , company website, linkedin and if you know some inside , but here the trick the interview always start by the classical question tell me about your self so before answer this you need to know what this guy looking for (simply his need ) man remember you are sales person don’t forget that, so simply you can use the below trick , you can be the brave man and go direct to turn the table and say i want to make the best use of our time together and talk directly to your needs. To help me do, that, could you tell me more about the most important priorities of this position, wait we did not finish yet , most of the time the interviewer will start to talk for sure he will tell something but after he stop in order to get all what he has you can simply say a simple word like …. And or Is there anything else (don’t be afraid)so you will get extra free info for the job ,now its your turn you know what this guy is looking for go and sell you self (again and again you are sales person you should know how to sell)
